About the Role
Monday - Friday (36 hours per week). 40 weeks per year with provision for additional weeks depending on caseload
The role advertised is a full time position (term time only) - part time hours will be considered
We are seeking a Band 5 or Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our growing team. Initially you will deliver physiotherapy services at Moorcroft School which caters to pupils aged 11–19 with moderate to severe learning difficulties, with imminent opportunity to work in other schools with children aged 4 – 19. Working closely with teaching staff and other therapists, your role will include:
Assessments and delivery of tailored treatment plans.
Equipment provision and training for staff and caregivers.
Service development initiatives to enhance the quality of care.
You will manage a varied caseload, gaining experience with a wide range of conditions, and will play an integral part in the physical and educational development of our pupils.
As part of the role, you will benefit from mentorship and teaching provided by a full-time Senior Physiotherapist based at Moorcroft School, ensuring you are supported in developing your skills and confidence in paediatrics and special needs physiotherapy.

What We’re Looking For
We are keen to hear from Physiotherapists who are:
Qualified with a physiotherapy degree and relevant post-qualification experience is desirable but not essential.
Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children and young adults with special needs.
Skilled in communication and confident with IT and software applications.
Adaptable and positive about change and service improvement.
Experienced in general physiotherapy (essential), with specialist skills in paediatrics and/or special needs (desirable).
