Specialist Support Assistant job summary

You will assist pupils with their learning activities and support them to engage in the curriculum and classroom lessons. You will be kind and patient, enabling our pupils to achieve to their highest ability. You will provide help and support, but foster independence wherever possible. You will role model a love for learning and show enthusiasm for working with our children and young people.

We are looking for persons who:

- Has NVQ level 2 in teaching assistant or equivalent

- Basic understanding of child development and learning

- Is reliable and trustworthy

- Has an exemplary attendance record

- Has a positive attitude with a 'can do' approach

- Is caring and committed to the highest standards of support for our pupils
