Grade 4 - Specialist Teaching & Learning Support Assistant
19.5 hours per week term time only + training days (195 days) - Wednesday to Friday
Actual starting salary will be £11,597.00 - £11,969.00 (£25,583 - £26,403 FTE)
Maternity cover until May 2027

Treetops at Bridgeview opened in September 2024. The primary area of need of our pupils is speech, language & communication. Our Treetops provision is growing, and we are therefore seeking to recruit a further Specialist Teaching & Learning Support Assistant. Candidates must be adaptable, flexible, and resourceful.
About the Role
You will be based at our Treetops provisions on Pickering Road. The role will be classroom based, working in small classes to support the academic, social and emotional development of our pupils and to maximise attainment and progress for all. Candidates will also support the intimate care needs of the pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the learning and progress of students across a range of subjects
- Work with students with additional needs to help them access lessons and build confidence
- Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
- Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well in a team but can also use their initiative
