Speech and Language Resource Base Teacher job summary

For September 2022, we are seeking to appoint an additional teacher to teach in our Speech and Language Resource Base. The role will involve teaching groups of children with SEN, delivering back up therapy sessions, liaising with class teachers and supporting the Teacher in Charge with the day-to-day running of the resource base. We are looking for a qualified teacher with a minimum of three years’ experience who has a passion for teaching children with SEN and a relentless desire to ensure that all children make excellent progress. Experience of working with children with speech, language and communication difficulties would be an advantage. Excellent training will be provided and the successful candidate will have regular opportunities to observe therapy sessions.
