We have a unique place in the education system in Bradford and in providing a resource for pupils aged 3 - 19 who need our structures and approaches to learning. In 2024, we were honoured with the Platinum Bradford Healthy Minds Chartermark Award, making us the first special setting to be recognised as a Beacon School in mental health and demonstrates our commitment to mental health and well-being in the school community.

We are part of Carlton Academy Trust (CAT) which was established in 2019 from the outstanding success of Carlton Bolling, an inner-city Bradford secondary school. Today, we proudly oversee three secondary schools, three primary schools, and three special schools, collectively educating nearly 5000 students, and employing almost 1,000 members of staff. All CAT schools are rated either Outstanding or Good by Ofsted.
