Job Details:

Salary: NHS Fringe Band 6 - Competitive salary offered for experienced and exceptional candidates

Line Manager: Head of Therapies

Key Responsibilities:

Work in close partnership with lead professionals, stakeholders, and the wider community to enhance access to learning and create enabling environments that support the diverse needs of children and young people with autism.

Support and extend communication opportunities for all pupils, ensuring every pupil has a voice to advocate for themselves in all areas of life.

Focus on helping pupils become independent and successfully transition between developmental stages.

Collaborate with lead professionals and families to promote inclusive learning experiences.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

What we are looking for:

A good (with the desire to be outstanding) or outstanding practitioner.

Someone who is ambitious, driven, and enthusiastic, with a clear vision for achieving educational excellence for children with autism.

An individual who is approachable, creative, pragmatic, and solution-focused.

A team player who is eager to contribute to the development of our growing school.

Be a highly effective and reflective practitioner who consistently demonstrates excellence, holds high expectations of self and others, and is passionate about empowering all pupils to achieve success.

The school’s vision is: To be a leading provider of education for children and young adults with the primary diagnosis of autism.
