Work where it matters most, achieve what matters more

Be part of a team where passion meets purpose, as we work together where the challenge is greatest to change the lives and build the futures of children and young people.

You may have already guessed that we are looking for even more experts at Ormiston NEW Academy. We are excited to be recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist who can work within our Resource Base to provide specialist support and guidance for children with physical disabilities, severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs.

Ormiston NEW Academy caters for 11 to 19-year olds, with 1063 students on roll. We provide a vibrant learning environment with first-class facilities and we have been graded Ofsted 'Good'. We are a school based on a clear and defined pedagogical model and explicitly taught behavioural norms. This is creating a place of joy, industry and excellence that is rapidly growing. The latest inspection report praises the school’s leaders for creating a "culture where positive behaviour and discipline are celebrated". It says that NEW Academy is a “vibrant school” that students “enjoy coming to” and where they are “safe”. Students at NEW Academy understand that they must try their best and strive for excellence at all times. During most recent Ofsted inspection one student told inspectors, “I know that today will not be my best, because tomorrow will be better”.
