The role:
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our highly regarded and expanding Therapy Team at Stony Dean School.
We are seeking an individual who is committed to improving outcomes for neurodiverse children and young people, and who is passionate about empowering students through effective communication, language development, and meaningful participation in school life.

Our established multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with students, families, education staff, and external professionals to deliver high-quality universal, targeted, and specialist interventions that are embedded throughout the school day.
This is a varied and rewarding role, offering opportunities to work across our specialist school provision, satellite services within a mainstream setting, and post-16 supported internship and work-experience programmes. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to admissions processes through prospective pupil visits, assessments, and transition planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Conduct therapy at universal, targeted and specialist levels
Focus on whole-school, universal approaches to maximise outcomes for all students
Deliver sessions in small groups, focusing on a range of speech, language and communication skills.
Report writing for EHCP processes including assessments and section amendments
STONY DEAN SCHOOL OFFERS:

NQT package including regular clinical supervision and support to complete your competencies.

The opportunity to be a part of a multi-disciplinary team involving a range of professionals including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Hearing/Visual and Multi-sensory specialist teachers, teachers and education team and CAMHS
