Speech and Language Therapy Assistant - 1 year FTC job summary
Chiltern Wood School is a Special School currently supporting over 200 students ranging from ages 3 to 19 years, located across three sites in Cressex, Studley Green and Downley. We offer the opportunity to become part of a team of caring professionals, contributing purposefully to meeting the special educational needs of children in the High Wycombe area. An amazing opportunity has arisen due to expansion for a two day a week Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join our team on a one year Fixed Term basis. The job involves working within the Speech and language team therapy team and alongside a multi-disciplinary team, you will be providing support to children and young people with autism/SLD/PMLD and related disabilities. Your role will be to assist the Speech and Language Therapist in undertaking duties and implementation of the SaLT intervention programmes for our pupils to develop their communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be flexible as the role does require support across all 3 sites, therefore a valid UK Driving Licence and mode of transportation is essential.
