Sports and Learning Mentor job summary
Richardson Endowed Primary School is a welcoming and warm place where everyone in our friendly staff team works hard to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
We are looking for a nurturing and dedicated individual, who can work flexibly across the primary age range.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning
- Delivering interventions to groups and individual pupils
- Working closely with teachers to address the needs of identified pupils with SEND
- Use sports/outdoor activities to provide help and support to meet an individual’s needs
- Planning and delivering after school/extra-curricular activities
The successful candidate will require
- A positive outlook and “can do” attitude
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A strong sense of teamwork
- A good sense of humour
