Sports and Learning Mentor job summary

Richardson Endowed Primary School is a welcoming and warm place where everyone in our friendly staff team works hard to ensure the best outcomes for the children.

We are looking for a nurturing and dedicated individual, who can work flexibly across the primary age range.

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning
  • Delivering interventions to groups and individual pupils
  • Working closely with teachers to address the needs of identified pupils with SEND
  • Use sports/outdoor activities to provide help and support to meet an individual’s needs
  • Planning and delivering after school/extra-curricular activities

The successful candidate will require

  • A positive outlook and “can do” attitude
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • A strong sense of teamwork
  • A good sense of humour
