The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 – Sports Coach at Inspire Academy, Mossley Road, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 9RU.

The role is fixed-term, part-time 30 hours per week, Term Time Only -Plus Inset Days
with an actual salary - £18,245-£19,137, (Grade D Point 7-10)

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Sports Coach to start with us in October 2025
30 hours per week – Term Time Only plus inset
Inspire Academy are looking for an individual who is passionate about positive outcomes for young people through PE, Sport and Physical Activity. We are a two-form entry academy located in Ashton-Under-Lyne serving children from 3-11 years of age. We are
seeking an individual who understands the needs of the children in our community and who will ensure they will support the delivery of a PE Curriculum suitable for all children within our academy. The person must have experience in delivering the PE Curriculum and be aware of the barriers some children may have. They must also be a fervent believer in removing those barriers to learning and live and breathe the importance of the benefits of PE, Sport and Physical Activity.

The proposed timescale for the selection and interview process is as follows:
• Applications close @ 12:00am on Sunday 31st August 2025 although the Trust reserve the right to close the process early if suitable candidates are identified through our selection process.
• Interviews will take place w/c Monday 8th September 2025
• Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed.
