Sports Coach / Learning Mentor job summary

Serlby Park Academy are looking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational, hard-working Sports Coach / Learning Mentor to join our academy in February 2020. The Post will complement & support the work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities. This involves leading PE planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups & whole classes (PPA cover) and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development. To support vulnerable pupils in groups and 1:1 during English & Maths sessions.

Hours: Temporary until 31st August 2020/ 37 hours per week / 5 days per week / 38 weeks per year

Salary: Grade D points 6 - 8 (£19,171 - £19,945 full time equivalent) Pro-rata
