At Northumberland Heath Primary School, we believe sport has the power to change lives. As our dedicated Sports Coach, you'll be at the heart of our mission to ensure every child feels confident, capable, and connected through high-quality physical education and a broad sports offer.
You'll plan and deliver engaging PE lessons, support class teachers, lead small-group interventions, run clubs, and promote inclusion and wellbeing for every child.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Deliver dynamic PE lessons and fine motor skills programmes from EYFS to Year 6
Work alongside teachers to plan and assess exciting, inclusive sports sessions
Lead small group interventions and support pupil progress with targeted strategies
Cover PPA and support absence cover through sport-based teaching
Supervise and engage pupils across the school day – from breaktimes to school trips
Champion physical development and emotional wellbeing
Support staff CPD in PE and help embed a sustainable sporting legacy
Play an active role in our Trust’s improvement journey and your own professional growth
