As a Sports Coach (Dance Lead), you will:

  • Support pupils aged 2 to 19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), with a focus on dance and physical development, tailoring sessions to meet their individual needs.

  • Work under the guidance of Senior Leaders and PE Leads to deliver engaging, inclusive dance sessions and sports activities that promote movement, expression, and confidence.

  • Participate in a variety of school activities, including dance workshops and sensory movement sessions.

  • Build strong connections with parents, families, and the local community, actively supporting the growth, well-being, and achievements of each student.

  • Receive paid release time to study towards your degree, with our full support in helping you become a dually qualified dance teacher.


Position Details:

  • Contract: 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time (43.6 weeks per annum)
  • Hours: 8:45 to 15:45 pm with a 30-minute lunch break, plus one after-school club per week from 15:30 to 17:15.
