As a Sports Learning Support Assistant you will
- Form positive and effective relationships with pupils, staff, parents, governors and members of the wider community so the ethos and values of the school are reflected in the way we work together.
- Support teaching and learning within the school by working with individuals, groups or whole classes as directed/supported by the class teacher. This is across the lower school age range.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and motivating PE lessons.
- Lead, organise and run extracurricular sports activities including supporting and assisting school led After School and Breakfast club facilities
- Help organise lunchtime and playtime games sessions or clubs / support and assist Play Leaders
- Use appropriate skills to help all pupils enjoy all learning, especially PE and learn new skills.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of learning activities.
- Prepare and maintain PE equipment and teaching resources.
- Become an active part of our team, prepared to go the extra mile for the benefit of our school community.
- Follow school policies and behave professionally.
