SPORTS TECHNICIAN

£21,120.60 starting salary Permanent Term time only, 37 hours a week

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic person to join our fantastic Sports Services Team. Ideally, you will have some experience of working within a sports or coaching environment and will have some knowledge of Sports funding initiatives, as a large element of this role will be to embed and further develop strategies which will increase the number of students who regularly participate in sport. A good standard of general fitness and good health is required due to the nature of this role.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent university or FE College leaver who is keen to gain experience of working within a student facing role in an educational establishment. This is a term-time only role, working 37 hours per week, and working hours will be during normal support staff hours which are 08.30 – 16.30, Monday to Thursday and 08.30 – 16.00 on Friday, however there may be a potential requirement to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis, as required by external usage.
