About the role:
Moulsham High School is a larger than average 11-18 comprehensive school where all students ‘flourish academically’ (Ofsted 2024).The learning environment is ‘cordial’ (Ofsted 2024), and students and staff enjoy a high level of mutual respect.
We are looking for a confident, driven Standards and Progress Leader to be responsible for the pastoral care, behaviour, attendance and academic progress of one of our year groups of 270 students. The successful candidate will be a senior leader of the school and as such expected to have a whole school presence and contribute to the achievement of the Senior Leadership Team’s school improvement priorities. They will manage a team of 10 Form Tutors who deliver a lively, engaging tutorial programme that enables all students to fulfil their personal and academic potential.
This post is superb platform for further promotion. It has become vacant due to the current postholder being promoted to Assistant Headteacher.
