About the role

We are seeking to appoint a Year Lead to join our friendly and supportive team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of the Inspire Curriculum while enhancing teaching quality across the phase. The Year Lead will model excellent practice, coach colleagues, and lead professional development to raise standards and improve pupil outcomes.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong understanding and delivery of the Inspire Curriculum
  • Proven ability to model high-quality teaching and support staff development
  • Experience in using data to drive teaching improvements and pupil achievement
  • Skilled in mentoring, coaching, and leading training sessions
  • Confident in monitoring, evaluation, and school improvement planning
  • Effective leadership and management of staff and resources

All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
