Job Title: Student and School Support Role

Salary Range: NJC Range 1A Point 2; £24,413 FTE

Contract Type: 1 Year Internship - (finishing date is flexible and can be agreed on appointment)

Working Days: 4 or 5 days per week

Working Hours: 30 or 37 hours per week

Working Weeks: 39 weeks (term time plus 1 week)

Annually the school appoints staff who have recently completed their A Levels or recently graduated and who are looking for an opportunity to work at the school, developing their skills and their CV.

This role is interesting, very varied (covering cover, pastoral and admin) and ideal for someone who would like to develop their leadership and organisational skills and develop their experience in supporting young people. These areas of work are incredibly valuable in themselves and also in supporting applications for careers and higher education courses going forward.

The role is Term Time only (4 or 5 days a week and 30 or 37 hours per week), the contract end date is flexible and can be agreed on appointment, as interns sometimes wish to build in time for travel or examinations.
