Student Experience Administrator (full time, 52 weeks per year) job summary

Luton Sixth Form College was established in 1966 as the first sixth form college in the Country. Student Experience Administrator (full Time, 52 weeks per year)

Working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00am to 16:00pm, for the full year. A degree of flexibility is required. Some evening working is required.

You will be focused on the delivery and development of a highly effective admissions applicant service and retention functions, one that is responsive to the evolving needs of identified target audiences (e.g., new and continuing students, schools, parents, internal staff), grounded in the principles of customer service, high-level administration excellence and the values of the college, including:

  • To ensure that procedures are in place to meet internal progression and external recruitment targets
  • To ensure the timely and accurate updating of information for each stage of the student recruitment cycle.
  • To co-ordinate and support key marketing and public relations activities (e.g. Enrolment, Open Evenings, Year 10 Tasters and Year 11 Transition Sessions).

We are looking for a candidate who ideally:

  • Has excellent administrative, record keeping, organisational and IT skills.
  • Has experience of providing high quality customer service and using customer service strategies and techniques in meeting key targets.
  • Has exceptional written and verbal communications skills.

Sixth Form College’s Support Staff Spine point 24, £25,786 rising to point 27, £28,408 with annual increments based on service and performance related criteria.
