Student Manager job summary
Due to expanding our pastoral team, Larkmead School requires two Student Managers to join us from 1st September 2026. The post of Student Manager has the prime responsibility of working directly with the Pastoral Team (Assistant Headteacher/Key Stage Coordinator, Director of Learning and Pastoral Support Department) to respond to day-to-day student behaviour, providing guidance, care and support for students and supporting engagement and achievement through the promotion of all aspects of pastoral care. This is a fixed term role for 12 months.
Key responsibilities include engagement, behaviour, and attendance of students. Working alongside and communicating with, families and outside agencies providing strategies and support when appropriate. Please read our detailed job description attached.

Contract Hours
37 hours per week during term time only plus 1 week to include some inset days. The working days and times are: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid rest break each day.
