Vacancy for Student Supervisor

Salary: Grade 3, Points 2-3

Hours of work: 22.5 hours, 38 weeks

Do you have experience supporting children and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels? Are you positive and motivated? We have 3 new vacancies for enthusiastic and engaging Student Supervisors, who strongly believe in the inclusion and acceptance of all students. These are new roles which will ensure the safety, welfare and care of pupils, and will promote their social development. These key roles will support the House Teams delivering, collecting and supervising students to ensure the maintenance of good order and discipline.

The Opportunity

  • To join a supportive, enthusiastic team who strives to motivate students to achieve their best
  • Be a key member of the pastoral team, ensuring the safety, welfare, physical and mental well-being of all pupils.
  • Arrange and supervise activities, under the direction of the Senior Tutor of a House

The ideal candidate

  • Has a good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in the English Language.
  • Experienced in supporting children.
  • Is aware of child protection issues.
  • Understands the concept of confidentiality.
  • Communicates effectively with all.
  • Has a positive and enthusiastic approach towards work.
