Student Support Room Officer job summary

Salary: NJC Grade C1 Point 6 – 19, £10,831 - £13,498 per annum (actual)

Hours: Part Time, permanent (19.5 hours, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm)

We are seeking to appoint a Student Support Room Officer to join our pastoral team, supporting the behaviour for learning and welfare of our students. The successful applicant will be a key member of our pastoral team and will supervise and support students who spend time in our reflection room.

We are looking for someone who is organised and able to work under pressure with conflicting deadlines, has the ability to demonstrate a high level of administrative skills including dealing with confidential and sensitive material. The successful applicant will be someone who can work with young people who need support in meeting the behaviour expectations at RMGS, be confident in forming positive relationships with students, as well as having behaviour management experience.
