Student Support Worker

Salary: Grade 7/8 £14,985.56 to £18,258.62 actual salary, pay award pending

Hours: Part Time, 3 days, term time only

We are seeking a committed and resilient Student Support Worker to join our team, supporting students to engage positively in school life and learning.

You will work closely with staff, families and external agencies to provide pastoral, behavioural and welfare support for identified students, particularly those facing additional challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting student behaviour and engagement across the school

  • Providing targeted pastoral support and interventions

  • Building strong relationships with students and families

  • Supporting vulnerable students, including those with additional needs

  • Contributing to safeguarding and student welfare

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting

  • Is calm, resilient and able to build positive relationships

  • Has strong communication and organisational skills

  • Is committed to safeguarding and inclusion
