What skills and experience we're looking for

The Stephen Longfellow Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Student Welfare Officer. This role is crucial to our Academy's operations, with the successful candidate anticipated to deliver short-term, evidence-based interventions while adapting flexibly to address the needs and wellbeing of students.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • A relevant level 3 qualification or willing to work towards.
  • A patient and resilient attitude coupled with the ability to maintain calm whilst under pressure.
  • Experience of working with students who have challenging behaviour.
