Are you a passionate Science educator with the ambition to lead and inspire others? We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Director of Science to join our successful Trust and play a key role in continuing to raise standards for our students. For an exceptional candidate, there may also be the opportunity to take on an Executive Trust-wide role in science, extending your impact beyond Brompton Academy.

As a middle leader you will lead a committed Science team, shaping an engaging and ambitious curriculum that drives strong outcomes for all learners. You will inspire both staff and students, promote high expectations, and ensure Science teaching across the department is impactful, inclusive, and aspirational.

High expectations sit at the heart of our culture. Through your leadership, our well-established careers programme embedded within the curriculum and enriched through events and experiences will continue to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to achieve their future goals.

This role is ideal for an ambitious teacher ready to take the next step into leadership, or an experienced subject leader keen to make a lasting difference within a thriving school and Trust.

You will be based at Brompton Academy, a highly oversubscribed secondary school serving the Medway community. Recently judged Good by Ofsted and celebrating our strongest-ever outcomes at Key Stages 4 and 5, the academy is on a clear upward trajectory. Guided by our mission of Transforming Lives Through Learning and our REACH values of Resilience, Equality, Aspiration, Community, and Happiness, we are proud of the calm, purposeful, and supportive environment we have created.

This is a full-time, permanent leadership role within a Trust that values collaboration, professional growth, and innovation.
