Are you an inspiring educator with a passion for Art, Photography and Textiles?

Do you have the compassion and commitment to lead a successful art, photography and textiles team?

If so, Thomas Deacon Academy has an exciting opportunity for you!

Your role:

As the Subject Leader for Art and Photography at Thomas Deacon Academy, you will be responsible for leading and developing all aspects of the Art and Photography curriculum. You will provide day-to-day leadership under the guidance of the Head of Department, manage resources efficiently, and ensure high standards of teaching and learning. Your role includes designing the subject intent, planning and sequencing the curriculum, and monitoring the quality of teaching.

To excel in this role, you will have QTS, extensive knowledge of the subject, effective teaching and learning styles, and experience in planning and delivering schemes of work. Strong leadership skills, the ability to inspire and enthuse young people, and a commitment to raising educational achievement are essential.
