What skills and experience we're looking for
Queen
Elizabeth’s Grammar, Alford are looking to appoint a full-time Subject
Leader for DT for April 2023. There may be opportunity for an additional TLR 2 (£4,975)
for the right applicant to undertake a new Middle Leader role within the school
focusing on supporting academic achievement or pastoral support depending on
the strengths of the applicant.
Ideally, we are looking for a colleague who is:
- A qualified teacher and outstanding practitioner
- A talented and dynamic teacher who can teach KS3, KS4 and KS5.
- Energetic and can inspire and motivate students.
- Keen to join a successful and collaborative department with good resources.
The Design Technology department currently offers GCSE’s and A Level in DT Graphics and DT Resistant Materials with a bespoke workshop and allocated classroom. The department currently comprises a subject leader, 1 full time teacher and part-time technician.
