A good honours degree and qualified teacher status
Evidence of relevant CPD
EXPERIENCE
A proven track record of impact as a teacher and at departmental level
A thorough knowledge and understanding of current developments in teaching, learning and the curriculum
Excellent wider subject knowledge
Ability to teach KS3 English
PERSONAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES
A demonstrable passion for Drama with an ability to inspire students and staff
Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships
The ability to think analytically and strategically

The successful candidate will work with our students in key stages 3, 4 and 5 and collaborate with our Music Department in productions and performances. Chesham Grammar School is a co-educational grammar school in Buckinghamshire. There is a county-wide selection to secondary school at 11+ and there are 13 grammar schools within the county, five of which are co-educational.
Our intake is drawn from a very wide geographical area. The majority of students come from the Chiltern and South Bucks area of Buckinghamshire but we also have students who travel from Hertfordshire and from towns on the Metropolitan Line such as Harrow and Uxbridge.
