We are seeking to appoint a high-calibre Subject Leader for Key Stage 5 Mathematics to join a talented and supportive Mathematics Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their leadership experience and continue to enhance the high-quality provision for our Sixth form students.
The successful candidate will:
- Have the ability to teach Mathematics at A-level.
- Share our commitment to building great learning communities for our students.
- Inspire young women with a passion for Mathematics.
- Lead on curriculum development in A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics and plan creatively for high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
- Be accountable for the highest standards of student achievement within the Mathematics Department at Key Stage 5 through the monitoring and evaluation of student achievement and setting targets for improvement.
- Deliver highly effective and engaging lessons with the aspiration of raising the academic progression of our students.
- Work collaboratively across the school

The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls is a non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for girls aged between 11 and 18. It is located in Romford in the borough of Havering, London. The number of pupils is approximately 1,300.
The school was established in 1906 by Frances Bardsley with the aim of providing free education to the local girls. Formerly across two different sites until 2003, it became The Frances Bardsley School for Girls in 1972 and converted to academy status in 2012.
