Subject Leader of Art job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Subject Leader of Art at Driffield School and Sixth Form. We are looking for a highly-motivated, forward-thinking and passionate individual to lead our art and photography department. If successful, you would lead a dedicated team of three art teachers, and our art technician, in promoting the highest standards of teaching and supporting students of all backgrounds and abilities. We place a high value on the importance of art within our curriculum and students enjoy our excellent facilities, including a dedicated space for our A-level students. The successful applicant will play an active role in the iterative evaluation of our art and photography curricula, evaluating curriculum design, implementation and impact. As a post-16 school, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach up to A-level where we successfully deliver courses in fine art and photography. The closing date for applications is 9.00am on Tuesday 3 May and it is anticipated that interviews will be held during week commencing 9 May 2022.
