Our Computer Science department is looking for a Subject Leader to inspire our students and ensure they reach their full potential.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Subject Leader of Computer Science & IT at Mildenhall College Academy.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and forward-thinking individual, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience in the classroom. We are seeking an ambitious professional with the ability to teach across the key stages, and join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. The ideal candidate will be someone who will promote teamwork and motivate staff to ensure effective working relations. As a leader of the team, you will play a lead role in curriculum development alongside progressing and enhancing the teaching practice of others within the academy and beyond. We are keen to secure a high calibre teacher who can make a telling contribution to our forward-looking team.

The department is part of a well led, mutually supportive team; there is a very strong commitment to improving standards. The appointed candidate will lead colleagues and will be supported by our teaching and learning team including Lead Practitioners and a strong SLT.
