We are looking to appoint an excellent Subject Leader for Computer Science to continue to develop the department and to reflect the ever changing world of IT and E-Safety. Our facilities include several ICT suites, equipped with new PCs for students at all Key Stages. We are proud of the rolling programme of Chromebooks being used across the school for Blended Learning within classrooms. The candidate will play a pivotal part in the development of pedagogy in their use across the school as well as taking the lead on E-safety across the school and within the Personal Development curriculum
Ridgeway Academy is part of the Ambition Education Trust (AET). The Ambition Education Trust (AET) consists of ten schools in Hertfordshire; three primary, one nursery and infants’, one juniors and five secondary. Our Trust launched in September 2024 following the amalgamation of two established Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), Alban Academies Trust and Atlas Multi Academy Trust.
