What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you an inspirational, experienced and dynamic Teacher of Design and Technology, who is seeking a new challenge? If so, you could be the right fit to join our teaching team in Hemel Hempstead.
Overview of the role
You’ll be responsible for teaching students from various ages and abilities the importance of working safely in the workshops and food preparation areas.
The right candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
- Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g. DATA accreditations)
- Ability to deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons and promote a love for a range of working methods and machinery
- Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Design and Technology
- Enthusiasm and commitment to extra-curricular Design and Technology activities for the enrichment of learners and the wider school community
