Inspiration Trust is at an exciting point in its development. We have twice ranked in the country’s top comprehensive secondary schools group and the trust is recognised nationally for its curriculum development work. We have one of the country's first maths and science specialist sixth forms. This role is key to the long term vision for science in the trust.
The successful candidate will be integral to our school improvement strategy and will take a leadership role within that, as part of a wider central education team. A part of the role will include teaching 2 days a week. The location of teaching will be discussed with the successful candidate, but will be within one of our secondary schools. The successful candidate will understand that high impact teaching is informed by effective curriculum design and a knowledge thorough pedagogy. We are seeking a leader who can not only deliver this in their own classroom, but who can lead on this across the Trust, leading, coaching and supporting other teachers. As part of this role, you will also be leading on science trust-wide strategies.
There will be opportunities to play a part in our school-based Initial Teacher Training programme training the classroom leaders of the future, and to and contribute to our longer term curriculum development work, making this a very exciting role.
