Norwich, with regular work across Norfolk and north Suffolk
Inspiration Trust is at an exciting point in its development. We have twice ranked in the country’s top comprehensive secondary schools group and the trust is recognised nationally for its curriculum development work. We have one of the country's first maths and science specialist sixth forms and the Angles Maths Hub (previously, Norfolk and Suffolk) is based in our trust. This role is key to the long term vision for mathematics in the trust.
The successful candidate will be integral to our school improvement strategy and will take a leadership role within that, as part of a wider Maths team. A part of the role will include teaching and for the first two terms, this is likely to be based in one of our Norwich secondary schools. The successful candidate will understand that high impact teaching is informed by effective curriculum design and a knowledge thorough pedagogy. We are seeking a leader who can not only deliver this in their own classroom, but who can lead on this across the Trust, leading, coaching and supporting other teachers. As part of this role, you will also be leading on maths trust-wide strategies and deputising for the Director of Mathematics when required.
There will be opportunities to play a part in our school-based Initial Teacher Training programme training the classroom leaders of the future, and to and contribute to our longer term curriculum development work, making this a very exciting role.
