What skills and experience we're looking for

We are a School Centred Secondary ITT provider working with secondary schools in Somerset and Dorset and are looking for experienced classroom practitioners to lead our Subject Specialist input on our QTS Secondary course and would like to appoint passionate teacher with a subject specialism in one of the following areas:

  • Modern Foreign Languages (French and Spanish)
  • Music
  • PE
  • Computer Science


What the school offers its staff

This is an opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of teacher training. This role will involve creating course materials, delivering subject specific training sessions to teacher trainees and supporting trainees and mentors in developing subject specific knowledge, this position can be arranged in one of two ways:

  • A ‘buy out’ contract where we pay the school for the teacher’s time, and they are released from their teaching to lead the subject input sessions.

Additional contract where we pay the subject specialist directly and they complete the subject specialist sessions during a twilight session in either their school or with us at Crispin in Street.
