We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Systems Developer. This role will work within the growing development team, being part of the software development cycle from interpreting and writing basic design requirement documentation, through to full design, implementation, testing and release. This key role will lead and manage the communications activity of the Trust by delivering our vision on education through the creation of coordinated external and internal communication strategies and campaigns.
The Opportunity
- Develop, configure and maintain applications and workflows using Office 365, Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint Online to support processes.
- Support the development of simple business applications and forms to streamline tasks such as admissions, communications, reporting and internal approvals.
- Work with colleagues across the Trust to gather and document requirements translating user needs into clear technical tasks and simple prototype solutions.
- Help ensure that software, online services and custom solutions are implemented in line with the Trust’s IT, security, safeguarding and data protection policies.
The ideal candidate
- Good educational background including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in React & Next.js frameworks
- Familiarity with software lifecycle processes and support tools, estimation and quality assurance principles
- Excellent knowledge of Office 365/Azure
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical staff
