What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidates will:

  • Have experience of working with children in the primary school phase
  • Have a good knowledge and understanding of children with SEND.
  • Be receptive to training and implement strategies given to support the children.
  • Have the ability to communicate well with parents and the class teacher.
  • Be an enthusiastic, inspirational and caring teaching support assistant.
  • Be practising Catholics or have a strong commitment to promoting and enhancing our Catholic ethos, and vision of ‘a joyful, aspirational community rooted in faith’
  • Be creative, and reflective teachers who nurture, motivate and inspire children to achieve their best.
  • Be highly organised, adaptable and able to work well as part of a dedicated team.
  • Be willing to make an active contribution to the broader life of the school.
