Wise Owl Trust is excited to be opening a brand-new SEND provision at Briscoe Lane Academy, Newton Heath (M40 2TB) and we are seeking to appoint dedicated Teaching Assistants to join us at this pivotal stage.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a specialist provision that will support pupils with additional needs to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

About the Provision

The provision will offer:

- A nurturing and structured environment for pupils with SEND

- A focus on communication, independence and emotional development

- A personalised and ambitious curriculum tailored to individual needs

- Close partnership working with families and external agencies

The Successful Candidates Will:

- Have experience working with children with additional needs (desirable)

- Be patient, resilient and nurturing

- Support pupils’ learning, communication and emotional development

- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff

- Be committed to making a difference every day
