We are a small, rural primary school near Grantham with a big heart and even bigger ambitions for our children. We are seeking a fantastic part-time Upper Key Stage 2 teacher to join our dedicated team and teach a mixed Year 5/6 class for two days a week.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who combines kindness and nurture with high aspirations for every pupil. Our children are eager to learn, our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our school community is warm, welcoming, and ambitious.
The post entails:
- Carrying out professional duties and to have responsibility for an assigned class two days per week..
- Completing planning, teaching, live marking and assessment activities so each child can achieve their potential.
- Being responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities.
- Promoting the aims and objectives of the academy and maintain its philosophy of education.
This role is a permanent, part-time role (Thursdays and Fridays)
We are looking for someone who:
Is an excellent classroom practitioner with experience (or strong interest) in Upper KS2
Brings an abundance of kindness, patience, and warmth to their teaching
Has high expectations and believes every child can succeed
