Tweendykes is a special school for 3-19 year olds supporting children and young people with severe learning difficulties. Experience of working with children with severe learning difficulties and autism is desirable.

Tweendykes School is a community special school and sixth-form for pupils with severe learning difficulties, autism and complex needs between the ages of 3-19. They are based in a new building, co-located with Winifred Holtby secondary school, and have up to 165 places. Tweendykes School is Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ and is National Autistic Society accredited. It runs outreach services and training for a wide range of schools and partners. At the heart of its ethos is the belief that every child can reach their potential with the right support. Tweendykes School converted to academy status in May 2013 and joined Humber Education Trust in June 2019.
