  • Have experience of working within KS1
  • Be able to plan and deliver lessons that meet children’s individual needs and capture their interests in all areas of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Have ambitious expectations of pupils’ work and behaviour, engendering respect through positive relationships and consistency.
  • Be a committed team member who will play an active part in the life of the school, engage positively with families and lead by example.
  • Know how to keep our children protected, safe and provide an environment where they can thrive.

The Local Governing Body of Ellenborough Academy invite applications from appropriately qualified teachers for this full-time post, teaching an Early Year class combined of Pre-School, Nursery and Reception and ideally the opportunity to lead Science in the school. The post is offered from the start of the Spring term. The post is offered on a one-year fixed term contract due to maternity leave.
