What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a teacher who will help us to deliver a high quality provision for our students and their families. We have a part time permanent position available (4 days per week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) based at our Ringinglow site.
What the school offers its staff
The students who attend Bents Green School all have complex needs linked to Autism and Communication and Interaction difficulties. Like many special schools the complexity of needs of our students is increasing and we are adapting our curriculum and offer to meet these more complex needs.
We are passionate about ensuring that all our students receive the best education possible, preparing them for adult life outside school and helping them become respected and valued members of society.We are proud of the individuals that make our school community, and the successful candidate will be an inclusive practitioner who recognises and celebrates diversity.

Bents Green Learning Community operates across three sites – Ringinglow, Gleadless and Westfield – and staff may be required to work across all sites in order to meet the needs of the students.
