Teacher and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead job summary

We are looking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and enthusiastic qualified teacher and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our academy of committed staff. We are interested to hear from experienced, qualified teachers in any subject. Your opportunity Inspire the young people at Harris Girls Academy Bromley. As Teacher and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, your role will be to To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate. To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor. To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. To contribute to raising standards of student attainment. To share and support the academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth. In part of your role as deputy designated safeguarding lead, you will assist in managing safeguarding and child protection (including online safety). You will be supported through training, resources and support to provide advice and support to other staff on child welfare and child protection matters, as well as to take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings, and/or to support other staff to do so, and to contribute to the assessment of children.
