Teacher and SENCo (1 year fixed-term) job summary
Job Purpose:
As SENCO you will work with the support and direction of the Academy Leader and the Local Governing Body to promote the vision and strategic view for SEND at the academy, which will inspire and motivate staff, SEND pupils and their parents as well as wider members of the academy community.
Teachers make the education of their pupils their first concern and are accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. Teachers act with honesty and integrity; have strong subject knowledge, keep their knowledge and skills as teachers up-to-date and are self-critical

This position is due to start in January 2026 and is fixed-term for 1-year. The successful candidate will primarily work primarily as SENCo in our ASC unit and will provide high quality support to pupils with SEND. They will also provide, an element of PPA cover.
The role offers flexible hours and days, with a minimum of three days required.
