Required from April or September 2026 an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of PE with responsibility as Senior Subject Leader and Intercollege Sport. The successful applicant will have the academic, teaching and administrative capabilities expected of staff at this prestigious school. PE and Sport play a central role in school life at Claremont. The successful candidate will lead the department delivering an ambitious and inclusive PE curriculum that promotes fitness, teamwork, leadership, and lifelong participation in sport. The department delivers GCSE and A Level PE courses. Our extensive facilities include a multi-use sports hall, fitness suite, and outdoor pitches, providing students with a wide range of opportunities across individual and team disciplines. Intercollege sport is a vibrant part of our community, with regular competitions and a rich programme of extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and events that promote collaboration, healthy competition, and enjoyment in physical activity. You will oversee and drive participation through competitions and events, and managing the promotion and points system that fosters school spirit.
