Are you a committed and proactive teacher with an infectious enthusiasm for all things Biology, Nature or STEM and the impact such an amazing subject area can bring to the social, emotional and mental well-being of students?

We are seeking a teacher with a special set of skills to ably deliver Nature, Biology (potentially up to GCSE) and STEM to our students, who is looking to make a significant difference to the lives of students who have often struggled to find an educational setting where they can thrive.

Future Education is a Specialist Independent School part of Future Projects Charity. All of our young people have SEMH needs, many have additional special educational needs such as speech, language and communication difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit and hyperactive disorders (ADHD). Whilst our provision is a small school of 44 students, all have EHCP’s, often they have not had a successful experience of education before joining and frequently have faced trauma in their lives. Through our unique combination of academic and vocational study alongside a range of therapy provision our students engage with learning and acquire the skills and qualifications they need to go on to lead happy fulfilled lives.

Here at Future Education recruiting staff with the specific set of personal qualities and ability to forge relationships with our students are key and we will invest in the right people for the role. If you are not yet qualified to Level 5 teaching but have the passion, enthusiasm and experience along with the willingness to commit to the training and study we would love to hear from you.

If you would like to join a dedicated, warm and friendly staff team utterly committed to influencing the life chances of our students. If you can bring compassion, understanding and patience to the fore in working with our students then we would love to hear from you.

If you would like to discuss the role or visit the school please contact the Operations Manager in the first instance, Sharon Moy on 01603 251310.
