Breadsall Hill Top Primary is seeking to appoint a permanent class teacher to join our existing team. We are looking for an excellent teaching practitioner with, not only high expectations of pupil progress, but also a drive for self-development. The successful applicant will be initially joining our Year 2 team and play a key role in our two-form entry school, not only in raising attainment, but most importantly helping our children to be happy, safe and secure and creating great memories for our children.

You would be joining Breadsall at an exciting time as we continue to work hard to be the school of choice for our community and provide our children with the highest quality education that enables them to fulfil their potential, discover new talents and develop a love for learning.

We are looking for inspirational teachers who are committed to creating a stimulating learning environment through excellent classroom practice and a passion for delivering great teaching and learning. Our work place behaviours place considerable value on taking responsibility, working together, striving for better, caring for people and being fair.

You will:

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.
• An interest in the teaching of design technology is desirable but not essential.

In return we offer:
• A welcoming community and a highly motivated, professional staff team that are driven towards continuously raising standards and delivering the best outcomes for BHTP children
• Excellent professional development opportunities through an extensive range of network groups and other Transform Trust initiatives
