What skills and experience we're looking for
The ideal candidate will-
- Be a qualified teacher
- Have experience of working with children with Special Education Needs (SEN), particularly children on the Autism Spectrum
- Ideally have experience of planning and implementing arts and crafts, DT and creative activities
- Have the ability to promote Positive Behaviour Support in a nurturing environment
- Be able to optimise the use of the onsite resources and facilities to design, deliver high quality and inspiring programmes to students at Woodley
- Assess and support students using a variety of digital methods to maximise learner potential
- Contribute to a high performing team through effective people management which ensures accountability and clarity of objectives and which utilises and develops the skills, knowledge and competencies of all staff members
- Participate fully in personal professional development
- Uphold the Schools behaviours and values at all times.
